Wild and Wolf

Wild and Wolf are an independent gift design company. Using material from Charles Buchan’s Football Monthly, they have produced a range of great men’s gifts for football fans of all ages, including an 18 panel football, leather wallet, hip flask, vacuum flask, and wash bag all feature two decades of evocative imagery from the golden age of football. www.wildandwolf.com

English Heritage

The Best of Charles Buchan’s Football Monthly was published in 2006 by English Heritage. It was one of the best selling Christmas gifts of 2006 and is still selling well. The book was edited by football historian, Simon Inglis. www.playedinbritain.co.uk

Malavan Media

Following the success of the Charles Buchan’s Football Monthly annual, an additional range of club specific gift annuals were published by Malavan Media. Once again edited by renowned football historian, Simon Inglis, the first in the range was The Best of Manchester United, Arsenal and most recently Liverpool and Spurs. www.playedinbritain.co.uk

History Television International (HTI) Ltd

HTI produced a commemorative dvd based on the 1858 Manchester United air disaster using material from Charles Buchan’s Football Monthly.

Delivers highly customised learning solutions for academic institutions, public, government and corporate organisations world wide. Football Monthly Archives have worked with Cengage to feature Charles Buchan’s magazines on their educational databases www.cengage.co.uk

The Boat That Rocked (Release due in 2009)

A new comedy about rock and roll on the high seas from filmmaker Richard Curtis (Love Actually, Four Weddings and a Funeral). Inspired by the British pirate radio revolution in the '60s, the film uses Charles Buchan’s Football Monthly magazine as props.

Stoned (Released November 2005)

A Stephen Woolley film about the life and death of Rolling Stone guitarist, Brian Jones. Football Monthly was asked to provide original football poster material from the 1960s to add authenticity to the film.

Breakfast on Pluto (Released September 2005)

A Neil Jordan film set in the 1970s. Football Monthly was approached to provide original reading material in the form of 1970s football magazines featured in the film.

Toonarama

A website devoted to Newcastle United. The site uses images and background history from the Football Monthly Archives about Newcastle United. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mickzoe

Honeycombe Leisure

Running 95 independent pubs and hotels through the North of England, Honeycombe Leisure wanted to publish a promotional magazine for the 2002 World Cup. The content for the magazine was 1960s articles from the Football Monthly Archives. The result was a stylish magazine distributed to all Honeycombe Leisure outlets.
